What we collect ourselves
Nothing that identifies you. The site is a set of pre-built HTML files served by Cloudflare Pages. It does not ask for your name, email or any account. Copying an install command happens entirely in your browser; nothing is sent to us when you click Copy.
Hosting logs
Cloudflare, which hosts the site, processes request data (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) to serve pages and defend against abuse. We do not receive raw logs. Cloudflare's handling is described in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Analytics
No analytics script is currently loaded. If we enable analytics in future it will be Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track you across sites, and this page will be updated.
Advertising
No advertising is currently served, so no advertising cookies are set. When display ads are switched on this section and the advertising disclosure will name the network, explain the cookies it may set, and how to opt out. Ad slots are already reserved in the layout so the page will not change shape when that happens.
Third-party links
Download links go to github.com, and other links go to bitwarden.com, package manager sites and competitor vendors. Those sites have their own privacy policies. We do not use affiliate links and no click is reported to us.
Fonts and assets
All fonts, images and scripts are served from factory-password-manager.pages.dev. Nothing is loaded from Google Fonts or other CDNs.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and knowingly collects no data from anyone.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data about visitors, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. Requests about Cloudflare's processing should go to Cloudflare; requests about ad network data should go to that network. Questions about this policy: contact.
Changes
This policy changes only when the site's data practices change. The date at the top is the last revision.
